Mission tasks will be totally unknown until the day of competition. The goal of this challenge is to provide an opportunity to develop problem solving skills on the fly without any help from adult coaches.
UMC is open to student teams from 5th through 12th grade. Judges decide winners for each division:
Jr. Division: 5th ~ 8th grades
Sr. Division: 9th ~ 12th grades
The annual UMC will be held during the World Championship Event at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan on Friday, May 15, 2020. This is an open category. Teams do not need to quallify to register. Registraion will open in April, 2020.

Each team member, as well as the coach and other adult volunteers, must bring the signed Robofest Consent and Release Form on the day of the event if not completed on line during the regisration process.
