(1) World Robofest on May 19

13th Robofest World Championship will be held on Sat. May 19, 2012 at the Lawrence Technological University, 21000 West Mile 10 in Southfield, Michigan. Opening ceremonies will begin at 9am. Admission is free. Please check out info web page at: http://www.robofest.net/2012/worldchamp.htm

(3) Info Meeting during World Championship for new teams

If you would like to become involved in Robofest next season (Fall 2012 ~ Spring 2013), please come to an informational meeting which is being held during our World Championship on Saturday (See above 1), from 10:30-11:20 am. This meeting is for prospective brand new Robofest coaches, parents, and teams.

(4) Robofest 5 and 10 year coach recognition

Robofest is not possible without leadership, sacrifice, dedication, and hard work of all the coaches. We have been recognizing coaches reaching 5th and 10th anniversary year. The following coaches will be receiving plaques of appreciation.

Robofest will have after-glow R2R game, Jr and Sr Bottle Sumo, and Vision Centric L2Bot Challenge competitions on June 9-10 during IGVC (www.igvc.org). For more details, please visit http://www.robofest.net/2012/igvc.htm

(6) Robotics Summer Camps

Robofest office offers Android mobile phone robotics, Arduino Robotics, L2Bot robotics, and NXT robotics summer camps at Lawrence Tech in Southfield, Michigan. For more details, please go to Robofest home at www.robofest.net and click on summer camps link in the right upper corner.

 

Macomb Community College in Michigan offers Robotics Camp to build your own robot. Macombís team of instructors will take you through the entire process of designing, constructing, and debugging a robot. Students will receive hands-on experience, as well as exposure to lectures and demonstrations on topics related to building a robot.
