(1) World Robofest on May 18

The event is held at Lawrence Technological University, 21000 West 10 Mile Rd. in Southfield, Michigan on Sat. May 18, 2013. Opening ceremonies will begin at 9am. Spectators may become People’s Choice Award Judges and win Raffle prizes. Admission and parking are free.

(2) Info Meeting on May 18 for new teams

Unlike other huge robotics competitions, Robofest is simple and affordable. Robofest focuses on rigorous STEM learning, since it is organized by University professors. If you would like to become involved in Robofest next academic year starting from Sep 2013, please come to an informational meeting which is being held during our World Championship on Saturday, May 18, 2013, from 10:30~11:20am in the Don Ridler Field House on the Lawrence Tech University campus.

(5) Inaugural GRAF (Global Robotic Arts Festival)

Nov 22~23 at Macomb Community College organized by LTU Robofest office. The event will include 8th annual RoboParade, Robot Dance Competition, and Exhibitions of Interactive Kinetic Arts and Sculptures. Details will be announced through this eNews.

 

(6) STARBASE Summer Program

STARBASE, a Department of Defense Community Outreach Program designed to provide students with exceptional hands-on STEM experiences, is offering a FREE Science, Technology, Engineering & Math Academy this summer. For more info, please go to: http://www.starbaseone.org
