On-line Registration for Robofest 2006 will start in December 2005 at Robofestís official web site, www.robofest.net.Registration has been moved up to December to give coaches additional time to form teams.

Robofest is pleased to announce that due to the higher number of Exhibition Teams who participated in 2005, we have expanded the Exhibition Divisions to include both a Junior Exhibition Division and a Senior Exhibition Division for the 2006 contest.

The 2006 Registration fee per team will be $35.00 and will be processed on-line as we did for 2005.The Official 2006 Robofest Rules will be announced in January 2006.Stay tuned for exact dates on both registration and rules on-line dates.

(3) World Robofest 2006 Championships will be held May 13, 2006 at LTU

Robofest has scheduled the date of the World Robofest 2006 Championships:Saturday, May 13, 2006, at the Don Ridler Field House on the Campus of Lawrence Technological University. This should make for a better weather day (no snow!) and provide teams with additional time to prepare after their Spring/Easter break.

Regional Qualifying contest sites will take place in April. This change allows more time for teams to prepare for Robofest, and moves Robofest away from other robotics competition dates scheduled for April. We are hopeful that this schedule change will make participation easier for everyone.
