Also the state competition will be held at Novi Expo center on Dec. 7. For more details, please check out: http://eng-sci.udmercy.edu/precol/fll/ We have about 300 Lego Robot teams in Michigan! We are number one in number of teams in the USA. The future of Digital Detroit looks very bright. (2) OCCRA Women's robotics competition at Lawrence Tech University Robots are alive in Metro Detroit. There will be another robotics competition on Dec. 7th at LTU. OCCRA (Oakland County Competitive Robotics Association) is an association of Oakland County High school robotics teams that have joined to form a league where 110 pound robots compete against each other in a sports-like game. This event is VERY unique because the event is for and by the women students. (3) Robofest 2003 Plan Robofest 2003 will be held on Sat. April 26, 2003 Tentative schedule is Jan. 18 - Draft rules will be announced. Feb. 8 - Informational Meeting at LTU Feb. 22 - Official Rules will be announced and registration begins on the web (First come first serve basis - Max. 70 teams) Mar. 8 - 2nd Informational Meeting Apr. 26 - Robofest 2003. Doors open at 8:30am. (4) Robofest forum website is open Please check out “forum” link on www.robofest.net page. You have an access to a public bulletin board to get information regarding robotics events and/or exchange ideas between users.
