(2) Robofest 2005 Sponsorship Opportunities

In order to keep Robofest a low-cost, but high-tech competition for all students, we must now seek additional sponsorship. Do you know anyone or company who might be interested in becoming an official Robofest sponsor?  For more information about Robofest sponsorships and benefits, please go to www.robofest.net/sponsors.htm or contact Lori Birman at [email protected]

(3) RoboLab programming resources at techclubs.org

Ann Arbor based Computer Challenge, a nonprofit organization providing resources to after-school computer clubs nationwide, recently setup a new web site at the URL www.techclubs.org. Everyone can access resources like RoboLab programming tutorials and robot games. We thank techclubs.org for making this wonderful resources widely available. You will also find the link, if you click on “Resources” button at Robofest.net.

(4) OCCRA Women’s Robot Competition, Dec. 4 at Lawrence Tech

OCCRA (Oakland County Competitive Robotics Association) is an association of Oakland County high school robotics teams that have joined to form a league where 110-pound robots compete against each other in a sports-like game. Before the closing ceremony around 2pm, Lawrence Tech students are going to demonstrate computer vision based autonomous laptop robots to the audience.
