This event aims to showcase the talents of young minds to not only the older generation but also to their peers. Young people have the opportunity to participate in many different activities such as robotics, music, art, sport, technology, science, maths etc? Young people in year six to thirteen can participate in groups consisting of a maximum of five people and one teacher and assistant if required. Any school can participate in one or more teams. The festival will consist of displays, demonstrations and live performances all presented by young people. This is what makes this project so unique and will provide a real experience for young people to present their achievements to the public and the wider community. The festival will be video conferenced, broadcasted on Kent TV and the media will be involved at both national and local level. Guests of honour and representatives from local Higher Education Institutions have been invited allowing great communication between generations.
